I’m a sucker for band names that riff off of childhood fears: Arcade Fire, Bare Naked Ladies, Gary Glitter. That’s why Sharks In The Deep End had my curiosity, but they garnered my attention with their single “Crash Test Doll”.

Crave is exclusively premiering the Austin, Texas-based new-wave punk rockers new music video for “Crash Test Doll”.

Directed by Justin Kirchoff in various locations around Austin, the fun, fast-paced video captures the spirit of the infectious song as Sharks In The Deep End vocalist/guitarist Tucker Jameson explains, “Not only is the video a humorous a peek into the everyday lives of crash test dummies, it is also an apt metaphor for how music can be transformative and lift you out of a cycle of lows.”

“Crash Test Dolls” is off the band’s debut LP Killin’ Machine (released April 22nd via Kobalt Distribution), mixed by Grammy-nominated engineer Mark Needham (The Killers, Pete Yorn, Neon Trees) and produced by Dan Drohan (Ang Low, Wilsen)
