Now, in its 25th year, the annual festival is known for championing independent music and culture since 1993. Some notable acts that fit the “buzzworthy” category are Los Angeles-based folk-rock band Dawes, who just released their fifth studio album, We’re All Going To Die; experimental hip hop group Clipping which features MC Daveed Diggs of Hamilton fame; avant song siren Julia Holter, among many others.
The expanded festival will take place in multiple venues throughout the Bay Area over eleven days beginning Friday, February 17 and running through Monday, February 27.
Early Bird and Super Fan badges for Noise Pop are on sale now. Individual tickets to these shows will go on sale at 9am PT this Friday, November 18. Badges and tickets can be purchased at www.noisepop.com/2017.
