We here at Mandatory love pranks — pranks like the screaming ghost girl on the subway, or even ones that end with an idiot clown getting punched (hey, he deserved it). But there’s a new practical joke in town that scared a hell of a lot of people who were just looking to buy a TV.
The chaos begins when Samara — who is a popular character from The Ring and the upcoming franchise reboot Rings — climbs out of one of the TVs, sending unsuspecting customers running. Take a look at the hilarious prank below thanks to Paramount Pictures.

See? All these people had the right idea. If you see a creepy girl who hasn’t had a haircut in her lifetime walking towards you in a dress that clearly looks like it hasn’t been through the laundry in a while, you run in the opposite direction. Although, that salesman is probably pissed off that she cost him his commission.
Rings is out for all to see on February 3rd.
