John Wall Crushed His Teammate’s Face With A Bullet Pass Last Night

In case you haven’t noticed, and judging by attendance you haven’t, the Washington Wizards have managed to win a few games, and they’re actually at the top of the Southeast Division standings.

One of the reasons behind their success has been the play of point guard John Wall, whose 10.9 assists per game are second in the Association, trailing only Houston’s James Harden (11.3). Of course, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you’re second in the NBA in assists, then you must be one hell of a passer.

Well, most of the time, anyway:

The recipient of that rocket ball from Wall last night was none other than Martin Gortat’s face, and that’s a shame, especially when you consider the fact that they play on the same team. I mean, we technically would have considered that a good pass if it would have drilled some asshole on the opposing team, somebody like Matt Barnes, for instance.

Instead, if Gortat is still telling stories with a bit of a stutter today, hopefully the media and his teammates cut him a little slack.

Oh, and the Wizards won last night’s game against the Raptors 105-96, which should also be news, as since it was the Wizards playing against the Raptors, odds are you were busy doing anything else other than watching the game.
