When I take the big leap and force my body to endure the savage process of ingesting fast food, two things happen. For starters, I take just a few bites before I inevitably tell myself “I shouldn’t be eating this shit.” That doesn’t stop me from inhaling the whole thing, of course, because a brotha’s gotta eat. Secondly — and this is the case for many of you (us) — the burgers fall apart and you’re forced to use your fries to scoop the excess goodies that fell on your wrapper. It’s a struggle.
Luckily, McDonald’s is here to help reduce the stress before your half hour trip to the restroom by turning your fries into a fork. This fabulous invention is cleverly called the “Frork.”
McDonald’s Introduced The ‘Frork,’ A Fork Made Out Of French Fries
The utensil is being marketed for a limited time as part of the fast food giant’s push to sell Signature Sandwiches. Yay, more potential for the runs!
Now that’s Frorking clever.
One of the company’s chefs, Michael Haracz, called this thing extremely unnecessary. That’s probably true, but we’re already eating food that’s not good for us, so have at it, right?
“We started with All Day Breakfast, updated our Chicken McNuggets, offered new Mac sandwich sizes for every occasion and now we’re introducing Signature Crafted Recipes because they are inspired by our customers,” McDonald’s chef Michael Haracz, continued in a statement. “And while the Frork is supremely superfluous, it shows that McDonald’s is willing to do whatever it takes to help them enjoy every last bite.”
Give me all those fries, chef. My stomach will hate you forever, but we’re still cool.
