Exclusive Preview | ‘Underground’ Season 2 Episode 4

The stakes are rising on WGN America’s original series, Underground, as the passage to freedom is now under threat from the treacherous Cato!

Even under the best of circumstances, Cato is less than trustworthy. But now that Cato is desperate to free Devi, who knows how far he’ll go? He’s already come to Elizabeth and Georgia for help, and their aid may unwittingly allow him to expose the underground railroad. Meanwhile, Georgia and Elizabeth have other major problems to deal with, including the exposure of Georgia’s heritage and some familiar faces from the past.

In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview from this week’s episode of Underground, Elizabeth has the opportunity to avenge herself on a man who abused her. And she doesn’t seem very open to reason as Georgia attempts to talk her down before she does anything that could endanger the cause.

WGN America has released the following description for this week’s episode of Underground:

Cato (Alano Miller) takes extreme measures to prove his loyalty to the unconvinced and impatient Patty Cannon (Sadie Stratton), while simultaneously feigning good intent at Georgia’s (Jasika Nicole) station. Then, an unwelcome visitor of the past arrives and provokes Elizabeth (Jessica de Gouw), causing her to seek revenge on the man at her own peril. Away from Georgia’s, Harriet (Aisha Hinds) travels off on a mission, and questions whether she is meant to be a leader in John Brown’s resistance. Turbulence persists back in Georgia when Noah (Aldis Hodge), Rosalee (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), James (Maceo Smedley III), and Corra (Michelle Elaine) make it to a safe house, and members of the group are forced to flee to safer grounds. Meanwhile, Daniel’s (Bokeem Woodbine) situation grows increasingly dire when his family’s well-being is threatened, and he decides to take action by relying on the help and kindness of strangers.

The penultimate episode of Underground season 2 will be broadcast Wednesday, May 3 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on WGN America.
