The business of television is pretty cutthroat , and so it goes with big-name actors who got their smaller costars axed from the show. Whether it’s bad chemistry, too much friction or just your general disdain for Charlie Sheen, things can go awry for just about any actor who isn’t number one on the call sheet.
The cat fights of ’90s teen dramas and sitcoms are met by some of the newer shows when one actor can’t seem to set aside personal differences to create a show together, and thus the ax comes down. Herein, you’ll see actors like Kevin James can only work with certain people, while other actors are recurring problems on set that usually get the boot from whoever is above them.
Check out some heated TV actor firing by big-time actors who simply couldn’t make it work with their costars. The only way to end this would be to link you to that classic line: You are the weakest link.

Bet they didn't think we'd notice the blatantly obvious recast when Aunt Viv (Janet Hubert) was fired after consistent outbursts on set. Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton) joined Will Smith in standing up to get her fired after she supposedly made the film set consistently very uncomfortable.

Sheen reportedly texted Blair that she was being fired from Anger Management after he found out about her complaints of his work ethic and off-duty ways. This, of course, led to a wrongful termination lawsuit by Blair.

Leah Remini blamed Sharon Osbourne for her removal from The Talk in 2011, just a few years after The King of Queens went off the air. Maybe she was destined to stick by Kevin James...

...And there it is. Remini guest starred on Kevin Can Wait , and their chemistry after so many years together on The King of Queens made his new love interest (Erinn Hayes) pale in comparison. James had her removed so the king could reunite with his queen on a more permanent basis.
Tori Spelling/Shannen Doherty

Everyone was screwing everyone, according to Jason Priestly, but the knock-down drag-out between Doherty and Jennie Garth led to Tori Spelling convincing her dad to give Doherty the axe.

Once again, Doherty was removed from a popular teen drama due to cat fights with her female costars. Just a few years later, Alyssa Milano complained about the unnecessary drama on the set of Charmed . Doherty was replaced in 2001 by Rose McGowan.
Kirk Cameron/Julie McCullough

Kirk Cameron has ruined a lot of things, including Christmas, but we never thought he'd be stupid enough to get his love interest fired because of her Playboy spread . Julie McCullough, you are a babe. And Kirk Cameron, you are a damn fool.
Alex Baldwin/Shia LaBeouf

Reportedy, LaBeouf was down Baldwin's throat about not being fast enough and remembering his lines. Baldwin gave management the ultimatum that only one would stay, and Shia went bye bye from Orphans in a snap.
Sylvester Stallone/Richard Gere

To keep it brief, things went south when Sly warned Richard Gere not to get his greasy chicken on his pants. And what do you think happened? Gere got his greasy mustard chicken on Sly's pants, and now they supposedly just can't stand one another.
John Stamos/The Olsen Twins

John Stamos was said to have tried to get the Olsen twins replaced on Full House during the early years when they couldn't get the shot due to their crying. Fast forward to Fuller House and Stamos is the ringleader to get them on board, even if it's in a mildly sarcastic manner.
