Austin Rogers is on an all-time Jeopardy streak. So far he’s won seven days in a row to the tune of nearly $300,000. His five day total was the largest in Jeopardy history.
People loved him immediately. Mostly because he’s a quirky Brooklyn bartender, a contestant who is actually showing some personality.
But another reason to fall in love this bearded bro? He revealed his secret to dominating the most popular game show in the history of game shows. And it’s so simple.
This is what Rogers said on Good Morning America.
I found ways to watch hundreds upon hundreds of episodes and while there’s no secret or code, if you watch enough, you’ll start seeing things repeat. So, if it ever says “sculptor,” it’s probably going to be Auguste Rodin. If it ever says “American sculptor,” it’s probably going to be Alexander Calder. If it ever says “Romanian poet,” it’ll be Ionesco. I have no idea who Ionesco is, but I’ve seen that come up in three episodes across the decade.
