These Were The Funniest Celebrity Halloween Costumes This Year

Forget all of those celebrities who dressed like Eleven from Stranger Things (again). Enough with the sexy versions of, in a lot of cases, characters or other celebrities who are already sexy to begin with. This year, if you wanted to catch out attention, you had to make us laugh by putting some actual thought or wit into your dress-up routine. Or, at the very least, wear some sort of nostalgic throwback costume that was just obscure enough to stand out among the rest. Those were the basic guidelines we went with. Now it’s your turn to let us know if you agree with our criteria.

The Funniest Celebrity Halloween Costumes Of 2017

Eric Andre (as Cardi B)

We would expect nothing less from a guy like him.

Bruce Willis and Stephen J. Eads (as the Grady daughters from The Shining)

I guess you could call this the softer side of Bruce Willis.

Keleigh Sperry and Miles Teller (as Beavis and Butt-Head of Beavis and Butt-head )

I’ve heard Miles Teller is a bit of a butthead. This just proves it.

Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union (as Milli Vanilli)

No way we could skip this one.

Steph Curry (as Jigsaw from Saw)

The giant tricycle sealed his spot on this list, especially since Jigsaw makes us laugh in his own right.

Zoë Kravitz and Karl Glusman (as Marla and Tyler Durden from Fight Club)

This was a preeeetty good throwback costume to a Brad Pitt film, but…

Gwyneth Paltrow (as herself in Se7en)

…someone is always right around the corner to outdo you.

Colton Haynes (as Marge from The Simpsons)

I don’t actually know who this guy is, but his Marge costume is certainly…funny (though I’m still not positive that’s the best word for it).

Aubrey Plaza (as Wednesday from The Addams Family)

It’s the part Aubrey Plaza was born to play.

Jim Gaffigan and family (as the cast of Austin Powers)

Imagine having so many children, you can actually do this.

And finally, the award for Best Celebrity Halloween Costume 2017 goes to…

Will Poulter (as Sid from Toy Story)

We’re not even going to dignify explaining why he won with (more of) a response.

And just like that, the throne is usurped: This Basketball Fan Wins Halloween For Best Sports Costume
