Adam Levine has a new look…but instead of channeling his inner badass, he looks more like a tatted Cookie Monster.
Let’s unpack the recent changes in the Maroon 5 frontman’s aesthetic. First, he got a buzz cut and dyed his remaining hair bright blue, which he debuted on a shirtless walk in Los Angeles earlier this week.

Then, he revealed a new neck tattoo on Instagram…of a butterfly?!

“Wise man once said…”when Instagram goes down…tattoo your throat…” his name was @nathan_kostechko,” the Grammy award-winning singer captioned a close-up of the fresh ink.
Levine has been known to undergo dramatic changes in his physical appearance, sporting everything from a clean-shaven dome to a bleached blonde mane to a mohawk hairdo. But this latest makeover is, well, almost laughable. Rather than look like an intimidating rock star, he more closely resembles one of his kids’ stuffed animals.
Ah, well. Given what a chameleon he can be, it won’t be long before he’s changed up his hair once again. At least the bad dye job is more temporary than the tattoos.
