We should be so lucky to be mistaken for a celebrity, but famous people don’t generally feel as grateful as we would for that kind of happy accident. Take Jason Derulo, for example, who recently lost his shit in the lobby of a Las Vegas casino when a random man called him “Usher.”
The 32-year-old pop singer got into an altercation with two hecklers at the Aria Resort and Casino earlier this week. According to TMZ, they were passing each other on an escalator when one of the pot-stirrers yelled, “Hey Usher, fuck you, bitch!”
Derulo allegedly got so pissed, he hopped over a security rope and punched the man who misidentified him for the lady-killer rapper. Then Derulo reportedly slapped the second dude. Bodyguards and others attempted to intervene. Of course, much of the scuffle was caught on video.

Rumor has it the hecklers left with bloodied faces while Derulo was handcuffed and escorted out of the casino. Last we checked, no charges have been filed.
While we can understand celebrities being miffed when people poke a stick at them, if someone mistakes you (even accidentally-on-purpose) for someone more talented, respected, and lauded than you, take the compliment, man.
