Don’t quit your day job, Zendaya. The Emmy Award-winning actor recently landed in the hospital as a result of a culinary attempt gone wrong. The Euphoria star was likely feeling less than euphoric (but quite possibly offered drugs) after severely injuring her finger in a kitchen accident.
The whole ordeal went down on her Instagram stories. “See now…this is why I don’t cook,” Zendaya captioned the first story, which featured her manicured pointer finger wrapped in bloodied gauze and tape.
The subsequent story appeared to take place in a hospital, and included latex-gloved hands, scissors, and thread, indicating that the cooking-inept celeb had to get stitches.
This was all confirmed in a third story in which Zendaya triumphantly raised her repaired finger in the air and on which she wrote, “Baby’s first stitches lol back to never cooking again.” She sealed the tour de force with an emoji heart.
Zendaya’s trusted assistant and BFF Darnell Appling appeared in the final shot, and posted his own pic of the incident on Instagram with the caption: “Never a dull moment with @zendaya no pun intended. Dear God, help me keep this little heffa safe cause she clumsy as hell.”

Well, we guess we know who not to expect a dinner party invitation from any time soon.
