Bryan Cranston Hit by Ball, Gets Ejected From Celebrity Softball Game (Not the ‘Breaking Bad’ He Wants to Be Known For)

Bryan Cranston is Breaking Bad in the worst way. The AMC series star recently got whacked in the right shoulder by a baseball during an All-Star Celebrity Softball game at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium. Grammy Award winner Anthony Ramos was responsible for the line drive hit that smacked into Cranston.

“It’s definitely going to bruise,” Cranston said about the impact, according to the AP. “I might be more of a cheerleader in this game.”

To add insult to injury, the bearded Emmy Award winner later got ejected from the game. The brouhaha happened after a third strike was called. Cranston claimed it was inside and kicked dirt on the umpire to make his point. J.K. Simmons then pushed the actor away.

“You’re stealing the game — stealing the game from us,” Cranston told the umpire before throwing a bucket of gum at him. Hence, the ejection.

Bryan Cranston was a loser in more ways than one as he and his Los Angeles teammates lost 15-13 to a Brooklyn bunch of famous people.

Whether this was all for show or a sincere display of sports rage on Cranston’s part, we don’t know, but we sure were entertained by it. Good actor, bad sport?
