We know it feels like Chris Hemsworth has been in movies forever. And this is likely because, in his role as Thor in the Marvel universe, he seems like he’s in 10 movies per year. But he’s only been well-known to American audiences for a little more than a decade. Still, in that time, he’s starred in some great movies (and even has a few non-Marvel movies on the way).
If you’re a fan of Marvel, superhero movies, or just summer movies in general, you’ve probably already seen his recent movie Thor: Love and Thunder. In honor of this new action-pack, intergalactic, Norse-mythology-filled superhero movie hitting theaters, we figured the time was right to look back on the last decade-plus of Hemsworth films.
From massive epic superhero movies to cult classic horror films, and badass action movies, the Australian-born actor has done it all. Below, you’ll find eight of our favorites, ranked in order of the likelihood we’d watch them again. Also, we left off giant Marvel movies besides the Thor series because we’re picking movies where Hemsworth was one of the main characters. Keep scrolling to see them all.
