Interview: Atlas Genius Talk New Material, Songwriting and more

We arrived at this year’s KROQ Weenie Roast to the sounds of Atlas Genius tearing it up on the main stage, where later in the day we’d see fantastic sets from The Black Keys, Of Monsters and Men, “Sail” heroes AWOLNATION, yacht-rockers Vampire Weekend, Silversun Pickups, a revitalized Stone Temple Pilots and more.

The Australian indie rockers have been winning new fans at an impressive clip thanks to their hit single “Trojans,” which has been climbing the charts and picking up airplay since last August. Just after getting offstage, brothers Keith and Michael Jeffrey took some time to chat with CraveOnline about knowing when a song is finished, their favorite Beatles albums, their Summer plans and new material, which is already underway.
