Goth/emo pioneers The Cure are the latest addition to the lineup for the Voodoo Experience Arts & Music festival. It’s the Voodoo debut for the British 80s icons, and their first performance in New Orleans since 2000. They join a bill led by Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and more (check out the lineup) for Voodoo Experience 2013, the fest’s 15th anniversary celebration, which runs November 1, 2 and 3.
We recently caught the melancholy rockers at Lollapalooza 2013, and couldn’t say enough good things about their hits-filled set, which closed out Day 3 of the festival.
