This week is light on games, but what is here is groundbreaking.
First and foremost we finally get our hands on Grand Theft Auto V this Tuesday. After over five years in the making, Rockstar Games is ready to unleash the most expensive game to develop in video game history. It’s got three main characters, tons of weapons, hours worth of activities to engage in, and one of the largest virtual worlds ever seen. All concerns from Grand Theft Auto IV have been addressed, so that means fun driving controls, cohesive shooting mechanics, and no more cell phone calls from Roman asking to go to the bowling alley because he’s feeling lonelly. If you still haven’t pre-ordered it do yourself a favor and check our our Buyer’s Guide.
If you’re looking for something a little more family friendly then The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is ready to splash on Wii U this Friday with its vivid visuals and unmistakable charm. With more than 30 hours of content and a beautifully realized fantasy world it’s a great choice for some late-Summer entertainment.
Other than that, well… the choices are slim. Just go out and get GTA V, will you?
