The Killers are taking part in a special collaboration to celebrate their ten-year anniversary greatest hits album, which arrives on November 12th.
Direct Hits features 13-tracks highlighting the best of the band’s four records, including the first song they ever wrote, “Mr. Brightside” from their 2004 debut, Hot Fuss. The greatest hits collection will also feature two new songs: “Just Another Girl,” produced by longtime Killers collaborator, Stuart Price and “Shot At The Night,” which was produced by M83’s Anthony Gonzalez. In an interview with Radio.com, Killers guitarist Dave Keuning explained that the M83 pairing was an idea cooked up by their label, Island Records. “There was a mutual thing like, ‘Yeah we think he’s good. We’ll try him out,’” Keuning said. “It’s something we finally agreed with our label on.”
