Miami Horror have been announced as the inaugural The Plot headliner as the boutique electronic festival prepares to play Sydney and Melbourne in mid-December.
Featuring alongside the Melbourne four-piece is the rapidly rising Alison Wonderland. The mysterious Aussie DJ inked a global deal with EMI last year before gathering a ton of steam with her debut single ‘Get Ready’ in June. She’s gone on to feature in some of Australia’s biggest festivals- Splendour in 2012, Groovin’ The Moo, Southbound, Good Vibrations- despite not yet having her own Wikipedia entry. Known for her sublime DJ skills, Australia’s most hyped new act has been killing recent shows sampling the likes of M.I.A., Daft Punk, Major Lazer, Massive Attack, Ludacris, Naughty By Nature and The Chemical Brothers.
Also appearing are DJ Snake from France, Gold Fields, Tyler Touche, Yolanda Be Cool, hip hop acts Remi and Citizen Kay plus a bunch of Flume-selected producers Touch Sensative, Wave Racer, Indian Summer, Elizabeth Rose, Hayden James and Willow Beats.
The Big Top Luna Park in Sydney will host the first day of The Plot of December 14 before the festival moves to Melbourne, playing across both the Palace Theatre and the Ding Dong Lounge.
Tickets are currently on sale for $45 at The Plot’s official website.
