Driveclub has a new trailer to coincide with BMW’s latest product: the 2-series. The beautiful new M235i is shown off in Melbourne Red, with its twin-turbo V6 and dashing new generation BMW looks.
BMW launched the 2-series today with two models: the M235i seen in the trailer, and a more affordable 228i. The creation of the 2-series is a part of BMW’s series nomenclature change and sharp redesign of its automotive arsenal. The aggressive new grill and headlights haven’t received positive reception from all car enthusiasts, but it’s the company’s attempt to remain competitive heading into the future where Mercedes is classier than ever and Lexus is beginning to show soul.
Driveclub‘s delay has been regarded by many as a huge loss for the PS4’s launch lineup. But really, the extra development time means it’ll me a much more ready product when it comes out in early 2014, and that includes the addition of the BMW 2-series.
