We certainly didn’t see this one coming. Dynasty Warriors developer Tecmo Koei is working on a new The Legend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors mash-up, tentatively titled Hyrule Warriors.
The third-person action game, announced during today’s Nintendo Direct, will be a spin-off to the core The Legend of Zelda series and will see Link slashing his way through Hyrule in an overblown style which will be familiar to fans of the Dynasty Warriors series.
Hyrule Warriors will launch in 2014. Watch the awesome trailer below.
