Former Pearl Jam CFO Pleads Guilty to Stealing $380,000 From Band

Rickey Charles Goodrich, Pearl Jam‘s former manager has pleaded guilty to stealing $380,000 from the band, according to Seattle Weekly.

Goodrich reportedly confessed to stealing large amounts of cash from the group during the four years that he had served as CFO for Pearl Jam’s management company Curtis Management, which ended in Sept. 2010. After bandmembers hired a private investigator to look into Goodrich’s “cash flow issues”, a number of transactions and wire transfers were discovered that had been used to pay off his personal debt.

The band have had a stellar year, with a wildly successful tour this fall on the heels of release of their remarkably strong tenth album, Lightning Bolt. Check out the 30 Best Pearl Jam Songs of All Time.

In addition to playing Australia’s Big Day Out festival, frontman Eddie Vedder will also embark on a solo Spring tour down under. Check out the dates and info right here.
