Sky Ferreira is the latest artist rumoured to be headed to Australia for Splendour In The Grass, all but confirming her booking in an interview with Triple J.
Probably all not that clued up on the Australian festival (off)season, the synthpop singer told Triple J that her debut appearance in Australia will be part of a festival around the same time Splendour usually takes place.
“I’ve never been to Australia before,” Sky Ferreira told the Drive show.
“I’m definitely coming in July for a festival, I think. I’m not quite sure [of the exact date], but it’s in my summer,” the Californian native said, most likely referring to Australia’s No.1 winter festival.
The 21-year-old part-time actress and model released her debut studio album in October last year, Night Time, My Time after dropping a number of successful EPs.

Also expected at Splendour In The Grass are London Grammar and Irish singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow while the recently reunited Outkast are being heavily touted as the headline act for 2014.
Last year’s Splendour lineup was released in late April, featuring Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean (who was a last minute withdrawal and replaced by Lorde), The National, Of Monsters And Men and Empire Of The Sun.
