Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is continuing his verbal battle with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, branding the Frenchman a “specialist in failure”.
Responding to Wenger’s claim that the Premier League title is “Chelsea’s to lose”, Mourinho replied: “He is a specialist in failure. I’m not. So if he is right and I am afraid of failure it is because I didn’t fail many times.”
“The reality is he’s a specialist because eight years without a piece of silverware, that’s failure. If I do that in Chelsea, eight years, I leave and don’t come back.”
This is a particularly classless move by Mourinho, who has in the past also branded Wenger a “voyeur” who “speaks, speaks, speaks about Chelsea”.
Chelsea are set to take on Manchester City tomorrow (February 15th) in an FA Cup tie at the Etihad Stadium.
