Excited for E3? Can’t wait to watch the press conferences? Well, while you might not be able to watch them from the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena, you can watch it live from a massive theater screen instead of your dinky computer monitor.
Sony has announced that select theaters will be streaming the Sony E3 2014 Press Conference live. This showing will not only include the press conference, but 30 minutes of extra content such as interviews. It’s the next best thing to actually being there.
There are roughly 45 participating theaters in the United States and Canada. You can see the list here. Attending is 100% free, but you must reserve a slot on EventGrid.
Here’s the announcement trailer:
If Sony is allowing thousand of people to watch the press conference for free via a movie theater, the show must be good… damn good. Don’t be surprised if this ends up being Sony’s best E3 in history.
