Steelseries Partners with EA for The Sims 4 Peripherals

The Sims 4 is coming out later this year, and whether you’re a gamer or a grandma (or both?) it’s a big deal. The Sims franchise is one of the best-selling on the market with 175 million units sold. The Sims 4 is looking to up the ante with a huge improvement in simulation and realism.

In preparation for launch, EA has decided to partner with Steelseries to produce a line-up of branded peripherals. These’s a new gaming mouse, mouse pad, and headset that will be hitting the market later this year. Might I add that they look stunning—as if that’s surprising for a Steelseries product.

VP and General Manager Rachel Franklin shared:

The Sims franchise has some of the best fans in the world and we wanted to enhance their experience to allow them to immerse themselves even further into the game. The Sims 4 is centered around our new Sims and their emotions and we believe that players will feel even more connected with the game as their peripherals reflect the mood of their Sims.

Each product is adorned with The Sims‘ iconic green crystal which got its start in the original game as a selection indicator.
