Capcom has announced that Dead Rising 3 is coming to PC. You can view the E3 trailer above.
Originally announced as an Xbox One exclusive, it appears that Microsoft paid for console and timed exclusivity to add some bang to its Xbox One launch. Some of that might hold up since a PS4 version hasn’t been announced.
It was previously stated that Dead Rising 3 wasn’t a timed exclusive, and would never go to PS4 or PC. So much for that. If these contracts require executives to lie about things like this, it’s worth noting for the future.
The game has already been datamined from the Steam database, making it appear that it’ll arrive in the next month, maybe two. If we’re lucky enough, it’ll be incorporated into Steam’s Summer Sale.
Dead Rising 3‘s PC version has some new features which include settings to make the game look better than its Xbox One counterpart, as well as all the helpings of a Steam game such as Trading Cards and cloud saves. Controllers will be supported at launch.
