When we hit the fields of Bonnaroo for this weekend’s muddy music marathon, we were thrilled to see last October’s Band of The Month featured artist The Wild Feathers on the bill. At the end of a cross-country drive chronicling the Road to Bonnaroo, it was a warm blanket of soulful goodness to watch Ricky Young, Joel King, Taylor Burns and Preston Wimberly create timeless melodies with a modern captivation through harmonies that set the soul ablaze.
Not long after their midday performance packed The Other Tent at Bonnaroo, we headed backstage to catch up with Wild Feathers drummer Ben Dumas.
