Kicking off the day of blockbuster announcements, Disney announced yet another installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean series for 2017. Not to be outdone, Sony Pictures first revealed that The Amazing Spiderman 3 would be delayed into 2018 from its planned 2017 release, but followed the bad news (or good news, depending on how you felt about the first two) with a reassurance that The Sinister Six was still in good standing, releasing on November 11, 2016. Unsatisfied with a mere seven untitled films announced, Marvel added one final film (or is it?) to the growing list of movies they’ve announced at Comic-Con, slated to release as far out as May of 2019. Finally, the Soska sisters will direct Painkiller Jane, helping to offset the current lack of strong female superhero leads.

Despite exhaustion already kicking in and the dreaded Con-flu creeping around every corner, look out for more Comic-Con 2014 coverage all week long, with daily updates from our Most Craved hosts.
