Original Story: Earlier today Sony announced that an interactive teaser was made available on the PlayStation Store. Titled P.T., for the past few hours myself and other horror fans have dived into what I would argue is one of the scariest interactive games every made… and it’s only a demo.

There’s been some speculation about what P.T. really is. Its quality is clearly too good to just be a free game for people to try out. There’s definitely something bigger going on. So what is it? The answer is a best case scenario for horror fans.
Upon completion of P.T., which is no easy task given its scare factor and obscure puzzles, its true identity is revealed. A game named Silent Hills is currently in production, and you guessed it, it will be the next addition to the famous Silent Hill series.
Silent Hills will feature a main character not only voiced by The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, but designed in his likeness (as seen above). Made better, it’s being directed and designed by Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and award-winning director Guillermo Del Toro.
Let me tell you something. I’ve been playing horror games for a long time, and I’ve never been more terrified than in the hour I’ve spent playing P.T. with my headphones on my ears. The game looks great and has outstanding audio design. Also, it takes some cues from Amnesia: The Dark Descent by being played in first-person mode with no weapons available. Silent Hill is making some drastic changes this time around, and for the better.
If you haven’t already, be sure to download the teaser on the PlayStation Store (exclusive to PS4) to see what all the fuss is about. You can see the teaser at the end of the demo on SoapyWarpig’s Twitch video (zoom to 1 hour 16 minutes to skip gameplay).

Since there has been no official announcement, it’s unclear if this is a game exclusive to PS4. Gamescom is just getting started, so we should find out before the end of the week, especially now that the cat is out of the bag.
