PAX Prime: Saints Row 4: Re-Elected Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Volition have announced that Saints Row 4 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One as a remastered title, ripe with improvements. The announcement was made during a panel at PAX Prime.

Titled Saints Row 4: Re-Elected, this remastered version of one of 2013’s best open-world action-adventure game will boast improved visuals and performance. It’s currently unclear if it’ll support 1080p, but it’s likely.

In addition to the visual upgrades, it will include all DLC content, including Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell which arrives on July 27th. Saints Row 4: Re-Elected will similarly debut on January 27th, and for a modest price of $29.99.

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell is an expansion for Saints Row 4 that was also announced today. It will send players on a trip to Hell to rescue Saints Row’s President of the United States. The new map will be roughly 50% the size of Steelport, and will have new powers to unlock, including demonic wings for travel. Also, two-player co-op will be supported. Given the expansion’s price of $20, the PS4 and Xbox One versions are a bargain.
