Video Premiere: Kiwi Time Get Surreal in Stop-Motion ‘Killin’ Me Baby’ Clip

Crave has teamed up with Belarusian born, SF-based indie pop group Kiwi Time for the premiere of their new music video, “Killin’ Me Baby.” The infectiously catchy, bass-throbbing track is featured on the band’s debut EP, It’s…Kiwi Time, released earlier this year (iTunes).

The band laid out the theme behind the clip, which features a captivating stop-motion technique as it follows the members through a day in the life of the band: “The video is an accurate portrayal of what happens behind the scenes with the band. Not every rehearsal goes smoothly. There are occasional fights, but that’s all normal when you know a group of people for twenty years. This song was written after one such disagreement among band members. However, we are learning and growing together, and the music helps us get there.”

Check it out below, and tune out of work with some enthralling visuals on a fine Friday afternoon:

The band recently collaborated with legendary hip-hop producer / artist Sir Mix-A-Lot on a track that will be released in early November. In the meantime, keep up with Kiwi Time at their official site, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.
