What I Am Most Thankful For This Thanksgiving

I’ll keep this concise. We should all be thankful for something this holiday season. Even us sports fans have something we can show our gratitude towards as we carve our turkey prefacing our endorphin infused food coma on Thursday.

Here’s what I am most thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Keith Olbermann

…returning to ESPN. And not just that, the fact that he totally outed Bill O’Reilly for lying about his college athletic ‘career.’ The ‘Worst Person In Sports,’ might be mean, but it’s great television. Unfortunately, some of those making Olbermann’s list deserve to be there.

A College Football Playoff

Thank you, Jesus. Only God almighty himself could have the power to finally maneuver the NCAA into a fair way of determining a national champion in the country’s most popular sport. Instead of arguing over who should be No. 1 in the BCS, we now argue over who should be No.s 1-4 in the CFP!

Colin Cowherd

You either love him or hate him. I love him.

Every single one of these moments

Because sports should be fun.

Kevin Hart

For literally roasting Jameis Winston like we’ve all wanted to.

For no one buying the God-awful NBA sleeved jerseys (seen right)

Because you shouldn’t be playing basketball in sleeves.

That the Lakers have won three games all season

Because no matter how hard he tries, Kobe Bryant will never be Michael Jordan.

Jets Flight Crew

Yup.

Every Nana out there, including mine, who loves sports as much as we do

Tara the Hero Cat

Saved a boys life, then threw out a first pitch amongst international media.

My family and for the trip they took me on to Cooperstown

A dream finally fulfilled.

And for Kayla Montgomery

For being one of the biggest inspirations for me this year, a year in which I completed the L.A. Marathon.

Feel free to send over and tell me what you’re thankful for. Have a terrific and safe Thanksgiving.
