Rock survivors Alice in Chains will be heading out this summer for a four-week tour across the U.S. The band say they “felt an urge to hit the road and have some fun playing for all of you since the majority of our year will be dedicated to writing and recording.”
Pre-sale for the tour (dates below) begins tomorrow, 3/10 – learn more at the band’s official site. AIC developed a unique fan relationship thanks to WMRQ in Hartford, CT, which directly impacts the tour. “We became close with a young man named Stefan Dayne-Ankle,” the guys explained in a statement, “who sadly last week lost a courageous battle with Leukemia. To honor Stefan, and to give him the memorial he deserves, we’re donating $2 from every pre-sold ticket on this tour to his family.
