The studio, which has seen everything from the creation of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band to Radiohead’s Kid A take place between its walls, is now available to experience online. Users can explore all three studios in the historic building, along with its mastering room.
Each studio features various live recordings to watch, along with a large selection of fascinating information regarding Abbey Road’s history. There’s a perform from the London Orchestra to watch which is viewable in 360 degrees, along with a mixing desk to enable you to try your hand at creating the perfect record.

Speaking to TechRadar regarding the creation of the interactive tour, a member of Google’s creative team said: “We’ve had to really go through every fine bit of detail, scraping YouTube and looking through the Abbey Road archive as well to pull out all these hidden gems,” Google Creative Lab’s Tom Seymour told TechRadar.
“We actually did a lidar scan of each studio so we had a 360 model of each of the spaces. And then we’ve captured the space with these 360 panoramas but with a HD format.”
You can check out out the tour right here. Be sure to equip yourself with a pair of headphones.
