Summer Movie Trailers With Director Rob Cohen on Most Craved

It’s been a huge week for summer movie trailers, so Most Craved is bringing in an expert. Our special guest Rob Cohen has directed blockbusters like The Fast and the FuriousxXx and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, and he’s here to help William Bibbiani (CraveOnline), Silas Lesnick (Coming Soon) and Jenna Busch (Legion of Leia) review the new previews for Star Wars: The Force AwakensBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Jurassic WorldFantastic FourAnt-Man and Tomorrowland, and share his behind the scenes stories to boot.

Can’t wait to see all these giant blockbusters? Why not check out Rob Cohen’s latest hit thriller, The Boy Next Door, which CraveOnline called “an absolute triumph of cheese!” It hits DVD and Blu-ray on April 28th, 2015, and it’s on VOD right now.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Did the new Star Wars trailer make you cry too? It had that effect on some of our Most Craved hosts, but not all of them. Find out why William Bibbiani is so skeptical, and all about Rob Cohen’s personal history with the production and his conversation with George Lucas immediately after the world premiere of the original Star Wars!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

It’s going to be a major cinematic event, but will Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice be any fun? The hosts of Most Craved debate whether the first trailer gives audiences what they want to see, and whether Zack Snyder’s spotty track record with blockbuster movies is something we should all be worried about.

Jurassic World

Does the fun new trailer for Jurassic World erase our fresh memories of that first god awful clip? Maybe, maybe not, but it does promise a lot of dinosaur porn (no, not that kind) for audiences this summer. But will that be enough?

Fantastic Four

20th Century Fox has been keeping their Fantastic Four reboot largely under wraps, but the new trailer shows us more of the cast than ever before. Has the time come to get excited, or does this new preview still lack the personality this movie needs to stand out in an already crowded summer?

Ant-Man

Speaking of personality, the first teaser for Ant-Man seemingly had none. But the new trailer is full of gags and action sequences that promise audiences a rollicking good time. But is it enough of a tease to get audience flocking to Ant-Man the same way they swarmed to Guardians of the Galaxy?

Tomorrowland

Audiences still don’t know exactly what to expect from Brad Bird’s ambitious sci-fi movie Tomorrowland, but if it’s anything like this new trailer, it’s going to be a hell of a lot of fun. Do we even want to know more about this movie going in, or is this coy marketing campaign exactly what we need?

The answers to all these questions and more await you on this week’s Most Craved!
