Bethesda has released some brand new footage of its highly anticipated sequel Fallout 4, offering a further look its desolate, post-apocalyptic environment.
The clip shows the player-character become embroiled in conflict with some raiders in the conflict alongside his canine companion, which winds up with him seeking refuge with a group of friendly survivors. From there, he dons a suit of heavy armor, carrying a minigun and clearing out a huge group of hostiles. Then a Deathclaw shows up and Hell really breaks loose.

While Fallout 4 still doesn’t look like the prettiest of games, the facial animations – a major bugbear in previous iterations in the series, and in Bethesda games in general – look notably improved in this footage, and it’s great to see that its developers are looking to change up its gameplay with a few new additions such as the armor scene featured here.
