Father John Misty’s place on the Meredith Music Festival lineup had already been announced but now we have the full list of names heading to the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre in December.
The International component of the lineup is extensive with Kiwi lads Unknown Mortal Orchestra on the bill alongside US singer Jessica Pratt, Brooklyn duo Ratatat and alternative darling Julia Holter. Repping for the Australia is Tkay Maidza (a.k.a the busiest woman in showbiz), rapper Briggs, Melbourne duo GL and more.
On top of that, the legendary Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth fame will bring The Thurston Moore Band down-under, while one of hip-hop’s greats Big Daddy Kane will show all the youngsters how to command a stage.
It’s an excellent lineup but as always Meredith is just as much about the experience as it is the lineup. It will all go down over 11th, 12th and 13th December in Meredith’s beautiful Victorian location. Organisers have promised “the most weird and wonderful Three-day, Two-night, 4D-SHOW.”
As always, you have to enter a ballot in order to secure tickets to Meredith. The ballot is open now until 10.25pm on Tuesday, 18th August and you can enter right here.
