The Dead Weather Gets Attacked By Wind in Clip For New Single, “I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)”

The Dead Weather are gearing up for a hotly anticipated return on Sept. 25, when their first new album in five years is released. We’ve heard a few selections from the upcoming Dodge and Burn through a series of 7-inch singles: “Open Up (That’s Enough),” “Rough Detective,” “Buzzkill(er)” and “It’s Just Too Bad,” which were released exclusively to Third Man Record Vault subscription members (and then to the rest of the internets through YouTube, because “exclusive” is an illusion in 2015).

Crave interviews Alison Mosshart on TDW, The Kills & more

A new single, “I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)” delivers a different kind of nails down the back, with Alison Mosshart lamenting “Why does my heartbeat feel like a speaker?”. The accompanying music video finds the wind having its violent way with the feral singer, and you can watch a preview of it below.

The entire video is streaming only on Tidal at the moment, but we have no plans to ever fuck with Tidal, so we’ll go ahead and wait for the Platinum Elite Superstar Frequent Sucker rewards program to run its course so the rest of us can enjoy the experience. Conveniently, the song was premiered on BBC Radio 1, so you can listen to it in full below.
