Miranda Kerr, Kate Upton, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and many other supermodels have been snapped by photographer Sebastien Faena for a new photoshoot for V Magazine, with the collection titled ‘Simply The Best.’
The images will be a part of the upcoming ‘The Best of the Best’ edition of the magazine, which will go on sale soon. It also features models Amber Valetta, Candice Swanepoel, Joan Smalls, Anja Rubik, Karmen Pedaru and Lily Donaldson, with them donning lace, diamonds and fur for the shots.
Now I know what you’re thinking – neither Miranda nor Kate are “under the covers” in these images, as was suggested in the headline. While we assure you that there are a variety of models who are partially covered by blankets in the editorial, it is true that Miranda and Kate in particular aren’t blanketed, therefore leaving us open to the inference that we were being misleading – this is not the case, as we simply ran with them going “Under the Covers” for the headline as this is much easier for a reader to visually digest than “Miranda and Kate Lay Atop a Bed for New Photoshoot,” or “Miranda and Kate Get Awfully Close to Getting into a Bed, But Instead Remain on Top of it in New Photoshoot.” It was an executive decision made on our behalf to shorten the length of the headline, and if that leaves us open to criticism then so be it.
