Game of Thrones Actor Hints At His Return

There are potential spoilers ahead for one of Game of Thrones most important characters! If you absolutely don’t want to know who is coming back then you probably shouldn’t have clicked on this link!

Last chance to turn back!

Since the very first episode of Game of Thrones, viewers have followed the unlikely heroic journey of Jon Snow (Kit Harington) as the so-called Bastard of Winterfell joined the Night’s Watch and he rose to the rank of Lord Commander. But that rapid career advancement played a large part in Jon Snow’s apparent demise in the fifth season finale and he was last seen bleeding out.

Yes, exactly like that.

HBO and Harington have repeatedly claimed that Jon Snow is dead, but the fact that Harington still has his hair at “Jon Snow length” seemed to indicate that he would be back. And during a new interview with the Belgian “Humo,” Harington appeared to indicate that he’s not leaving the series just yet…despite his apparent desire to move on.

“I often felt frustrated as well,” said Harington. “I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to Game of Thrones. So the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much. The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract.”

When asked how many seasons he has left, Harington laughed and said “Nice try. I can’t talk about that. Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: the day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects.”

That seems pretty definitive about the return of Jon Snow, one way or another. But we’ll learn more about his fate when Game of Thrones returns in Spring 2016.
