Star Wars fans, brace yourselves for a ridiculously exciting two minutes and 25 seconds, because the truly epic new trailer for the long-awaited J.J. Abrams-directed Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has arrived.
With less than two months until the first Star Wars since 2005’s Star Wars Episode III: Return Of The Sith is finally released, the official trailer for The Force Awakens (below) shows the villainous new villain Kylo Ren promising Darth Vader’s crushed mask, “I will finish what you started.”
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer also sees Han Solo (Harrison Ford) tell Rey (Daisy Ridley), “It’s true. All of it. The Dark Side. A Jedi. They’re real.” A hooded Luke Skywalker even appears to make a brief cameo, with a robotic hand reaching out to touch R2-D2.
The first Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser was released in November 2014, featuring a swag of new lightsabers and droids. The second, which arrived in April this year, featured both Han Solo and Chewbacca.
The latest Star Wars film features original trilogy cast members such as Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill, alongside newcomers like John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Max von Sydow and Andy Serkis. The film’s stunning official poster was unveiled earlier this week.
Following Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the saga will continue with an anthology film titled Rogue One in December 2016, as well as the proper sequel to The Force Awakens – Star Wars: Episode VIII, which is tentatively set for May 2017.

I’ve seen every Star Wars trailer and teaser for the next movie and still have no idea what it’s ‘really’ going to be about, touche.

I saw a lot of downed aircraft in the Star Wars trailer, I guess they let Harrison Ford do a lot of his own stunts
