WiLD received brand new gameplay footage during the PlayStation media briefing at Paris Games Week, exploring the relationship between man and nature in an open-world environment with an emphasis upon exploration.
First announced at Gamescom 2014, developers Wild Sheep (co-founded by the Rayman series’ creator Michel Ancel) gave us a much more detailed look at what they’ve been working on, and the result was the highlight of the PlayStation press conference and a new contender for the PS4’s most exciting upcoming exclusive.
During the 5-minute clip we got to see the game’s shaman protagonist successfully possess the bodies of animals, ride on the back of a bear, terrorize a pack of cannibals with a murder of crows and summon a giant snake woman. It looks absurd and quite unlike anything we’ve played before, which can only be a good thing.

There’s no word on when WiLD will be released, but it’s certainly piqued our interest and has now firmly made its way onto our radar.
