NYC alternative-soul duo 8 GRAVES have come roaring in to end the year powerfully with their debut EP War Out There, to be released on October 30th – but fans can listen to the entire set ahead of release below, exclusively on Crave.
The band’s new EP War Out There was fully written, recorded, mixed, produced, and mastered by Carpentier and the other half of 8 Graves, Nicholas Goncalves. Together, the duo have created a passionate set of digital-era anthems through a lens shaded with Massive Attack and The Weekend. Their unique mix of trip hop, r&b and pop-infused dance is immediately captivating, a perfect source for festival transcendence when next Summer’s music-marathon ragers return.

“8 Graves was created with a mission of reaching out to people like me,” explains co-founder and vocalist Brent Carpentier. “When I was young, I often turned to music as something to identify with. I found comfort in the lyrics of musicians that felt the pain I did, and those songs made me feel like I wasn’t alone.”
