Most Craved | New Star Trek, New Bond, New Genders

So, as it was announced a few days ago, there will indeed be another Star Trek TV series, this time run by the same production team that has made the last few movies (often referred to as The Abrams-verse). Is this a cause célèbre, or a cause consternation? The two Trekkies on the Most Craved panel speculate amidst a wave of cautious optimism.

Jenna Busch (Legion of Leia) and Silas Lesnick (Coming Soon) gather on their respective couches to gab about Star Trek, reveal their fandoms (one of them is an admirer of Enterprise) and debate whether or not we should be looking forward to a new Star Trek show.

Also, since SPECTRE opens tomorrow, the pair talk about what’s good and what’s bad about the newest James Bond feature.

And: Are we living in a parallel universe? There are so many gender-flipped reduxes of popular male-led franchises (Van Helsing, Ghostbusters, Ocean’s Eleven) that Silas begins to speculate in a dangerous direction.
