There’s A Mr. G Singalong Happening At The Opera House

It’s going to be G-time (not free time) in Sydney, because The Summer Heights High Mr. G Sing-along is coming to the Opera House.

That’s right. Those lucky enough to live in the Emerald City (or willing enough to travel there) will have the chance to gather together at one of the country’s fanciest stages and sing along to some of G’s most seductive hits.

It’s all happening on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th January 2016, and although Chris Lilley himself won’t be in attendance (*sob*) the creative mastermind behind Australia’s fave triple threat drama teacher is pretty keen to see you slap the butcher.

He quipped: “Who wouldn’t want to see Mr G up on the big screen, shout out quotes and sing the songs from ‘Mr G The Musical’ with your friends. I’d do it but it seems a bit narcissistic to quote yourself” (via Pedestrian TV).

The night will also be hosted by triple j comedy duo Matt & Alex, and you can even bring your yoga balls, because dressing up is totally encouraged.
