Green Day Drop Dad-Punk Christmas Anthem ‘Xmas Time of the Year’

Green Day are feeling the celebration spirit, as the new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have just released a new Christmas single called “Xmas Time of the Year”.

Listen to the track below, with the raw punk of a 43 year old Broadway dad belting out: “This time / I’ve got no resolutions / Giving thanks for nothing,” he sneers. A big middle finger to you, Santa! YEAH! Or something. “Happy Holidays from Green Day!” the band wrote of the song, and boy, have they capped off our day with this one:
