Ubisoft has been worryingly quiet when it comes to divulging more information regarding Tom Clancy’s The Division. Considering it’s arguably the studio’s most highly anticipated game of the year, its two delays – first to 2015, then to March 8th, 2016, which remains its release date – and the lack of gameplay footage we’ve seen from it had caused us to grow a little suspicious of its quality. That’s without even mentioning the non-disclosure agreement the publisher forced participants in the its alpha demo to sign.
But now Ubisoft has finally lifted the lid on it once again, debuting a new gameplay-focused trailer that, while short, has managed to successfully grab out attention once again with its glimpses of team-based tactical gunplay and futuristic gadgetry.
Check it out below:
The Division was previously slated as the game that would truly highlight the capabilities of the PS4 and the Xbox One, though after two delays it remains to be seen whether it will still represent the cutting-edge of the current-gen technology. Hopefully it will manage to live up to expectations when it’s finally released in March.
