Did The 2016 Bonnaroo Lineup Leak After a Mobile App Slip-Up?

Fans were treated to a sneak peek at the Bonnaroo 2016 lineup on Wednesday night, when the bill briefly leaked on the Bonnaroo app before it was quickly taken down. But of course, nothing ever truly disappears from the internet, and one savvy Redditor was quick enough to grab a screenshot of the next installment of the best festival in America, happening June 9-12 this year in its usual home of Manchester, TN. .

It should be stressed that this is not the officially announced lineup, and at best the poster indicates the first wave of artists, in alphabetical order no less. The fact that Macklemore was listed as “Macklmore” and Fidlar is “Fidler” does not help in the legitimacy test of the list, which would be strongly in question if not for the source. Nor has there been any mention of the comedy roster, late-night parties or peripheral events such as last year’s “Game of Thrones” season finale viewing after festivities closed.

Thus far, all three reported headliners – (Grateful) Dead & Co., LCD Soundsystem and Pearl Jam – have been merely speculation. The rest is listed in alphabetical order, and includes Big Grams, Clutch, Death Cab for Cutie, Dungen, Father John Misty, Grace Potter, Haim, Jason Isbell, Kamasi Washington, Kurt Vile, Lamb of God, Leon Bridges, M83, Purity Ring, Tame Impala, Vince Staples, Waxahatchee, Ween and more.

The lineup will officially be announced next Tuesday, January 19 on an episode of Conan, airing at 11 PM EST on TBS. The festival’s 15th anniversary, will also introduce a range of new improvements including permanent bathroom facilities including 400 toilets, hundreds of permanent shower stalls and several new water filling stations throughout the site.
