Abe Sapien Volume 8: The Desolate Shore

Abe Sapien is one of the primary characters in the B.P.R.D. (Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense), the group led by Hellboy. The characters and stories in Abe Sapien are directly related to the Hellboy graphic novels.

On the run at the end of the world, Abe Sapien’s Dark and Terrible story reaches its finale, and the answers he uncovers about his own existence reveal some of the biggest secrets of the Hellboy saga. AWOL from the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense for more than a year, Abe travels to lost two lost kingdoms before returning to America. There he’ll confront the most nightmarish version of the fate he’s run from all along, as well as the necromancer who sees Abe as a means to control the end of mankind.


B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth Volume 14: The Exorcist

The Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense, also know as the BPRD, is the group led by Hellboy who are dedicated to ridding the material world of evil monsters and spirits.

Cameron Stewart (Fight Club 2, Batgirl) writes and draws the two-arc story following Ashley Strode from agent-in-training to fully-fledged exorcist. BPRD field agent Ashley Strode attempts to purge a demon from a 100-year-old exorcist, utilizing a deadly rite that sends both of them into a spiritual hell. When she returns, her commitment to fighting the forces of evil in the world leads her to a rural town where a demon-worshipping cult is believed to be kidnapping children.
